In the words of the great poet and my good friend, Antonio Machado: “La primavera ha venido/ Nadie sabe cómo lo ha sido.” The spring time is finally here and, like the trees and flowers around me, I have emerged from a long creative hiatus.

Just because I haven’t been writing about them, the adventures haven’t stopped! Keep a look out for some stories on Mozambique and South Africa, as well as D.C. livin’ and my series for May: Ode to Feria. Each week in the month of May, I plan to post a different story about the infamous, colorful festival in Southern Spain.
